The MIND-P project analyzes opportunities and barriers to how the Norwegian bioeconomy can be transformed so that it can achieve (direct) independence from imported mineral phosphorus by 2030. Manure, is unequally distributed throughout the country, making the distance between the point of manure generation and crop and cereal production needing fertilization potentially vast.Fish sludge and excrement represent the greatest potential for P recycling in Norway. The different sectors involved in the Norwegian bioeconomy are becoming increasingly interdependent. We are exploring the opportunities this entails for a transition towards a circular bio-economy Daniel B.
